I did not have a lot of time to read this week because of my project. I read 4 pages and they were about Slam and Mtisha tutoring for math. Slam gets very discouraged when he can not do a problem. Mtisha just wants him to try and solve it correct or not. Slam will need to get his grades up to stay on the team.

I am at the part in the book when Slam is informed that there is a college scout coming to whatch the game. Nick tells Slam that they will have to work together and forget about the fights they had in the past. This will be a hard game though, because Slam will be playing one of the best centers in the league. I can't wait to see how this game turns out.

The book Slam is very interesting book. The main character slam moved to a new school and joined a new basketball team. He is having social problems with kids on his team and one of his best friends. Slam is having trouble in school as well as getting play time in games. Even though he is the best player on the team the coach will not start him. I look forward to reading and seeing if he can resolve his problems.
