the subtle yet concerning hints about jude’s backstory being dropped every now and then are driving me INSANE. what is this mans deal. i need to know.

the mental preparation it took to even pick this book up made me feel like a soldier going to war. im equal parts excited and terrified but i NEED to know what the people know

them talking about decapitating all the soldiers except one and then having a romantic moment immediately after gave me so much whiplash

if i had a nickel for every time my favorite character in a danmei had a whole page of them crying their eyes out while yelling “it hurts!” at the top of their lungs, i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.
