I'm not enjoying the book so far, I find it boring. Hopefully the pace will pick up once the subject of he story starts actually happening. Right now, she is telling the story of her early life, growing up as a Jew in Austria and how she was the member of socialist parties and practiced socialist ideology.

I like the way that the book has started so far. The author, which also happens to be the subject that the book is based around, shares her experience as if she is telling a simple story to her grandchildren. She tells every part of her story in detail in order to captivate the reader and take them with her back to Austria and Germany. I am already enjoying the book, even on the first few pages.

As Angel has been living as a harlot in "Pair-A-Dice," she has grown more and more tired of the same routine and the same disrespectful people. Michael has been using his gold to come visit her since God has told him that she is his "soul mate" so to speak. Eventually, the security guard who is supposed to protect Angel abuses her so bad that she is saved by Michael from the place, engaged and now living with him.

I am really enjoying the novel so far. It has hints of "romance" in it but also ties together through Christian belief. As of now in the story, Michael and Angel are starting to realize the fact that they should be together not only because they want to but because a force greater than themselves wants them to as well.
