Didn't see that coming. Probably should have.

It's getting tense.... (Ok that's a lie it's been tense for about 150 pages)

I'm 100 pages in and the thing the blurb is all about hasn't actually happened yet. I mean, I'm really enjoying it. But... there hasn't been much running.

Anyone else find apocalypse books get them thinking about their own apocalypse contingency plans? I don't have a basement to shelter in (just a car pit in the garage), and we're far away from shops where we could pick up supplies (though we do have a van, so if we could get to a shop we could really load up). I do live by the sea, so maybe we could rig up a way of making the water drinkable?

I'm in a real reading slump right now - which is a shame because this is a fun book.
