Alright, after Parisa’s chapter, I don’t know if I’m vibing with the writing 😅.

I’ll be honest, I’m vibing. There may be a tad too many perspectives with me not liking at least two narrators and one character so far, but I’m scared to see why such the low rating.

I fear there are too many character voices already.

I can get behind an enemies-to-lovers, but did it have to be right off the bat with there being a potential love triangle? I’m interested, much to my chagrin, but I don’t love this foundation.

I’m only reading this for Filipino American History Month.

Imma be so forreal. I literally have no idea what’s specifically going on. I have a semblance of an idea of what’s going on. BUT. I’m still enjoying myself.

I love a book where I’m not invested in the characters emotionally so it’s just smooth read through.

This still is not my favorite, but at least my interest is now piqued.
