Okay, now I’m liking Nesta a bit more hahahaha Love the banter between the bat boys, Mor, and now Feyre, and the meeting with the other courts is certainly a highlight!! I don’t like how guilty Feyre still feels about her sisters… whenever she talks about them, it honestly seems she’s talking about children without any agency or responsibility. In any case, still having loads of fun!!

I’m sad to say that I’m seriously struggling to get through this book… so much is happening but it feels like nothing has happened at all? Medra’s and Blake’s relationship is in the background again, Blake seems like a completely different character… and the side characters kind of blend in for me somehow, I don’t really care for most of them. I hope the ending makes it justice!

Liam 🥹🥹🥹 This book is so nostalgic, I just can’t stop listening to it. The narrators are killing it! And seeing Xaden pop in from time to time… perfection!

Seriously, could Nesta and Elain be any more ungrateful? I understand the trauma, but in the end, Feyre saved their lives. If she left them alone, they would most probably die in the war. I’m sorry, but there is no excuse for Nesta to be soooo bitter and rude to everyone, I just can’t stand it. And Elain couldn’t be more delusional, she’s basically a 5yo! I hate that Feyre still feels guilty for them 🙄

LOVE Feyre in her vengeful, shadow queen era! I kind of felt sorry for Tampon for a moment, but then I don’t anymore 😂 No backbone on this one, I’m afraid. Sorry for Lucien and so glad she brought him along, even if he’ll suffer with Elain’s disdain very soon…

Yes, this is def my favorite of the ACOTAR books! Where Feyre finds her power, where they come together as one and she becomes a force to be reckoned with. Where the ground is laid for revenge and reunification. Where we find out so much more about Rhysand’s story, trauma and reasoning. And where we see how stupid Tampon really is, traumatized or not! Loving this reread and on to the next one!

The scene with Nyxaris? A bit out of the blue for me, or maybe I needed some time to get back into the Bloodwing Academy mood first, but... It felt out of character for Florence to go all in like this, from some dreams and usual hesitation to anything new to full on 🔥. Besides, isn’t it VERY weird to have a dragon fantasise about a girl like this? 😂 Anyway, what matters is: where’s my dear Blake?

Feyre finally growing into her power, winnowing and creating Illyrian wings? LOVE! Their banter and tension, and now the ONE BED SCENE? Yup, I’m eating it up!!

Excited to go back to this universe for the last instalment of the saga!

Ok so, unlike the first one, it took me forever to finish this book, especially to push through the middle. It dragged and repeated A LOT until around 70%, but this ending is def packed with action and major revelations. It might have saved the series for me!

Loving how their romance is developing, how they bond over their shared trauma and empathy for each other. Because it’s a reread, I feel as if I’m experiencing much more of the world and underlying story, paying more attention to the descriptions and side characters, like I’m less anxious to see the main plot unfold. Having a great time!

Both playing hard to get even though their feelings is right in their faces? Adorable.
Fav book of the series this still is!

The way Rhysand pushes her right where she needs it and gives her the agency she so desperately craves. The way he understands and gives her space, but is also present and delicate and kind 🥰 And sexy!!
Not to mention meeting the inner circle. I LOVE them all!!

Starting Mist and Fury right away! This one was my favourite book when I first read the series, where we all fell in love with Rhysand, the ultimate MMC! (& I’ll not accept criticism about it! 😂)
Oh, and it’s also when we learned to hate Tamponnn as well 🫠

Rhys Rhys… can you be more perfect? And the moment he realises about the mate bond? Soooo good!! Now I remember why I flew through this series. On to Mist and Fury! 🔥

I forgot how naive Feyre was to go to Under the Mountain with basically no plan, thinking she would outsmart a fae general at least 20 times her age who had managed to trick even the fae high lords into submission! HAHAHAHA And Tampon’s complete lack of action? It’s irking me like on the 1st read 🫠 I’m having such a great time with this book again!

I didn’t remember they were all wearing masks the whole time!! And Feyre… she’s lived in poverty, mistreated and hungry, and is complaining about suddenly being well-fed, bathed and in a mansion? Come on girl!! Hahahah Enjoy yourself a bit 😂😂

Starting my reread of ACOTAR, now on audio. So far so good, even if it’s funny that her punishment for killing was to live in a magic realm! Now I’m remembering why I never forgave Nesta and Elain for the way they treated Feyre. I’ll still reread Nesta’s book, but I don’t think she’s redeemable, even after everything. She’s a terrible person and everyone should just stay clear 😂 And Elain… 🙄

Finally started the ARC, and it picks up right where the previous book ended. Excited to continue the story!!

Current audiobook. The narrator Genevieve Gaunt is very good, but so far it has been a lot of info dump with not much story to go with it. I’m pressing on, as it was highly recommended and is only 3h long. I hope it gets interesting soon!

Chapter 40. No! I can’t believe it!! 😭😭😭😭😭

Omg omg omg I wasn’t expecting this revelationnnn!! Ares!! It’s just so perfect and I 100% did not see it coming!! I knew someone would save him, but this?? I’ll have to read book 1 again already now hahahaha And now he finally gave in 🔥🔥🔥 Hallelujah, Darrow! This was the slow burn of the slow burns 😂😂 The way I can’t stop reading this book is not normal!!

Eating this book up! It’s even better than Red Rising: more fast paced, higher stakes, and the interesting side characters shine bright as well. The surprises at every turn? Looove! I also appreciate that Darrow has conflict: “When does the resistance become exactly like the monster they’re fighting?” That he isn’t blindly doing anyone’s bidding. I wish he would give in to Mustang, though 💜

Interesting to finally find out more about Kaden’s real story and past! I like him much more than Gareth, who is practically a child giving a tantrum at this point 🙄 Kaden is carrying the book for me…

I was intrigued at first and liked the premise. I was curious about Leonore, she seemed like an interesting FMC with a backbone, and Silas was mysterious enough, but now I lost a bit of interest, tbh. Besides, the 1st 🔥 scene was honestly underwhelming after the buildup, so… not sure if I’m going to finish this one.

Current audiobook. Rina knows how to write MM, that’s for sure, but I see many similarities with God of Fury. Having fun regardless!
