Wouter is 48% done with Reflections on Gifted Education: Critical Works by Joseph S. Renzulli and Colleagues
Still missing the place of the core curriculum in Renzulli's theories. Constructivism is all fine and well, but gifted children, though going faster, also need a lanch pad to take flight. I think especially gifted children need this launch pad as their minds wander broader and further than regular students.

This year I will read more poetry (that's why I moved from 35 books to 40). I will probably also read more fantasy (Realms of Imagination is really an encouraging read).

I am curious what you would be interested in me sharing.

I am getting a bit tired of the gifted/talented will be our future leaders and therefore need 21st-century skils. I hope Renzulli gets back to the importance of knowledge (which he acknowledges from time to time) and how to assist the gifted in acquiring this.
