Ah, lads. Why does everything about Ireland written by an American make me cringe? This quote is awful. "I knock on the back door. It only takes a moment for her rosy cheeks and warm smile to greet me. “Top ’o the mornin’ to ya,” she says in a playful Irish accent.
I smile, and step through the doorway. “And the rest of the day to yourself.”" I am Irish, living in Ireland all my life and NO ONE has ever said that.
