Going in with low expectations. I have heard from numerous people that this is easily the least enjoyable series in the Realm of the Elderling. I considered skipping, but I feel like I should complete the whole series. After this series, just one more trilogy to go!

I think this is really well written for a YA. Not in a flashy or extravagant way, but organically.
