left unfinished, approx 50% through. I struggled with the violence more than expected. Very beautiful and dream-like; reminded me a little of Clive Barker's Imajica in terms of journey and mysticism... possibly because I only reread that recently. Would like to come back to this, but unlikely considering how huge my backlog is.
