Rhys was captured by some of the King’s people and tortured him in a cave, but Feyre hunted them through the woods and eventually found him and healed him. She also found out through the Suriel that Rhys and her are mates; he told her that he didn’t think it was fair to tell her when she was still in love with Tamlin. Soo he suspected it under the mountain and kept her alive because he already loved her hehe

The boom is still pretty good so far; Feyre and her gang are in the Summer Court and Rhysand is having her steal the Book of Whispers or something so that she can nullify the Cauldron to stop the king of Hybern from using its raw magic. Rhysand and Feyre are both super jealous when the other flirts with somebody else, but I’m wondering whether Tamlin will come into the picture sometime during this book.

This book is pretty good so far. The exploration of Feyre’s trauma through issues with eating, touch, sleeping, and enclosed spaces deepens her character development. Her relationship with Rhysand is growing and she feels like she can speak her mind with him and not be punished for it, unlike how she would beg Tamlin to allow her out of the house and he locked her inside.
