I've read through Chapter 1 (and Part 1) - Christian Origins and the NT. Wright seems highly conversant with modern (and postmodern) NT scholarship. He appears to want to keep his spiritual convictions well hidden, maybe in order to give him academic credibility. If that's so, I personally think that's lame. A Christian man should be able to do scholarship as a Christian man.
