A very silly and comical book that allows you to take a different perspective on the serious matters of one’s day-to-day life and ask oneself why do I take this seriously why do I take this so seriously. Though, I have put the book down a few times whenever I do pick it back up it does spark a sense of joy in me at the thoughts that are usually so serious.

I’m excited about the idea of reading this book, though I don’t believe I will finish it. The purpose behind ones existence is one of the great mysteries of the world. Though, I don’t expect this book to answer that question I do believe reading the thoughts of others who pondered the question will be interesting.

I feel as though the first paragraph explains my vision and interpretation of the daily doings or dealings of life as of current. The words ring very true and establish the continuous boredom of life on a day-to-day basis going about as usual or to the status quo!

Just started reading again after a very long break.

I just finished this book and have to say it made me feel like I need to read about and learn lot more about the African American Struggle and the people who fought for change in our country. I felt proud after reading this and will look into ordering a few of James Baldwin's books.
