Hmm. I feel weird about this book. Almost everyone is raving about it, but it feels weirdly racist to me. This is a book written by a white woman for a white audience and I kind of get a "white saviour" vibe from the characters. I will finish it, of course, maybe I will change my mind, it is interesting to read.
