I'm really excited to start this book. I understand it has not been as favorably reviewed as his previous efforts, but I still love reading the unique analogies Brian Greene uses to paint us a picture of cutting edge Physics.

Wonderful book about a great patriot & military mind. A must read. This man played a huge role in securing our Independence through his military exploits in the field in numerous battles in different Departments.

Since I'll have time to read while out of town, I'm going to try to squeeze this bio in before our beginning our RevWar book club Lafayette selection.

Made progress in starts & stops this weekend, but still slow going. Yesterday was a comedy as I would sit to read and literally be interrupted every two sentences. I guess that comes with being Dad! Today we made a killer snowman - hopefully the last one of the season!

Enjoying the read but, as usual, my progress is slower than I'd like.

Starting to appreciate the bloodiness of the French & Indian war. Simply brutal.

Steve Boothe is 25% done with A Guide to the Battles of the American Revolution
This is an outstanding work that is engaging enough to be a stand-alone read. However, the greatest use I have found for this book is to augment the reading of other books that mentions battles of the American Revolutionary War. Used in this manner, this book enhances the understanding of any Revolutionary War book you may be reading. I find it particularly useful as a reference when reading a biography.
