Hasan and Hussein are the torch-bearer. Yazid, the son of Mauavya, will be lead the story now...

Mauavya, the Governer of Iraq and the son Hind and Abu Safyan, is the biggest resistance now.

Jon Snow and Tyrion are on their way to the Night's Watch.

Bran barely escapes assassination attempt. Rob has become the acting head of Winterfell in absence of his father Eddard.

Eddard is on the way to King's Landing.
Jon Snow and the Imp are on the way to Night's watch - the wall at the end of the North.

I am bit dormant reader these days but looking forward to gear up...

Started reading the epic tale of Shia-Sunni split just after the death of the holy Prophet (PBUH).

Peeking inside the glorified history is shocking and exhilarating experience.

King Robert is in Winterfell with his royal entourage and family and he asked Eddard Stark to accept the proposal of becoming Hand of the King and betroth her daughter Sansa with crown prince Jeffery. Jon Snow, the bastard son of Eddard, is making his mind to leave the Winterfell and join his uncle at Night's Watch and never return back to the world whee there is no need of him.

My first epic fantasy book!

Done. A good read.
I found Jamal Ahmad a superb writer and narrator. I felt as I was a nomad wandering in the wildernesses of tribal belt at Af-Pak border.

Each story and the interlinked details astonished and amused me equally. The chequered history of the tribes and the tribal land is something which we cannot get rid of or change easily in near future. It needs time, prudence, empathy and perseverance.

Last portion is left. Then I will wait for a year to enjoy the Clifton Chronicles. :(
