I know it's quite a critical point, but I love how much Phedre loves her body and her culture and tradition at this point, without questions nor doubts.
It'd be easy, I think, for the author to give out her or our own morals, and I love she doesn't. Phedre is a daughter of her own culture, and she's nothing but proud of it.

Umh. I need to find something else to read too. 'cause otherwise I'm going ahead with KD tonight. Not that would be a problem, since Giovanna would catch me up in like two seconds.

Anyway, I need to check what I have on my e-reader. Easy and in italian... my mind can't keep it all, otherwise :p

And so I reached the end: story #12, I liked Laini style very much, I think I liked the story itself too, altho there was a bit too much of Damsel in Distress vibe to it.

Umh. I'm a bit torn over story #11.
On one hand, I liked the writing, and the story was cute and nice.
On the other hand, the plot had so many holes and the romance was so rushed that I don't even know.
Anyway, I think I sorta liked it, all faults included.

“Oh, well,” York said. “That makes sense then, I suppose—assuming you think like a teenage boy. Son, why didn’t you just come ask me?"

Listened to this one on audio, vainly hoping beyond hope that I might finally read a Brandon Sanderson book I don't like so I can feel better about myself as an author.

I've got headache, backache, general-ache and this book is not helping.
But I can't stop reading.
