I know it's quite a critical point, but I love how much Phedre loves her body and her culture and tradition at this point, without questions nor doubts.
It'd be easy, I think, for the author to give out her or our own morals, and I love she doesn't. Phedre is a daughter of her own culture, and she's nothing but proud of it.
