Early copies finally arrived at my house! It’s such a beautiful thing to see a book baby all wrapped in a pretty cover!

Sin always carries steep consequences. Sin always spills into the lives of those around us whether we realize it (or don’t care) or not.

Numbers 11:23 “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true.”

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

The Levites were dedicated to God and priests came from them. When it was time to care for the tabernacle and transport it, they all had a role. Some roles seemed more important than others but that’s not accurate. It took them ALL serving to carry and care for the tabernacle. The way God asks you to serve is important & vital. 🤍

Rest is important. Don’t forget to do it!

Leviticus 20-22 HOLINESS. Full stop.

Leviticus 9:2 “You must be holy because, I, the LORD your God, am holy.”

“Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1

Holiness is work. It won’t happen by accident.

Leviticus 16:22 “As the goat goes into the wilderness, it will carry all the people’s sins upon itself…” Thankful that Jesus is our scapegoat. He bore our sins. A perfect, holy sacrifice.

Leviticus 12-4 Rich to poor. Everyone can come to the LORD. This book can feel like dry toast but God is tenderly caring for them physically and spiritually. From medical care to nutrition, to law and order, and a way to come to Him to worship. They’re in the wilderness as a group of people, but they’re being built into a nation.

Basic point of sacrifices and offerings: Admit guilt. Confess sin. Be made right with God.

Leviticus 1:9 But the internal organs and the legs must first be washed with water.”

“I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice…”
Romans 12:1

..”just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her yo make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. Eph 5:25-26

Exodus 39 All the detailed preparation for one sole purpose …HOLY TO THE LORD.”

Observations from Exodus 35 & 36: Give out of a heart devoted and willingly. God gives us ability, skill, and wisdom to perform any task that builds his kingdom and brings him glory. Are you using those God-given abilities to serve him faithfully?

Exodus 32:8 “How quicky they have turned away from the way I commanded them to live!..”

Reflection Question: How quickly do I turn away from the way God has commanded me to live.
