Not me judging a book by its cover and reading a genre I normally don’t go for! It’s so pretty, I just couldn’t leave the library without it! I hope I’m going to like it because there’s a sequel which is equally as beautiful! 🍃🍄🌿🗝️

God knows why I’m still reading this, but something is keeping me at it! It’s playing out like a Simon Pegg movie with fence erecting, beer drinking, cigarette smoking and very little else!

Phantom vehicles and aircraft - a ghostly apparition of a Lancaster Bomber spotted flying over the Peak District to a driverless truck on the M6, are these people who claim to have seen these and a variety of other unexplained events, simply driving tired?! I dunno. Some of these reports are a bit off in the believability stakes if you ask me!

A detailed introduction - Ch1 ‘Fundamentals’ explaining ESP, telepathy, clairvoyance, apparitions and hauntings, UFO’s, time travel, and something called ‘Psychic Internets’, which was obviously not a thing back in my Arthur C Clarke or Fortean Times days!

I’m not sure about this one after the first couple of chapters, it’s not my usual kind of story, but I’ll give it a bit longer as I’m intrigued by the octopus character! 🐙

Right, I must put this down now as the Sunday roast won’t cook itself and my husband just asked me what time is dinner planned for! I was tempted to say ‘after I’ve finished this’, but thought better not! 🤣

Completely bonkers, but ever so entertaining, even more so second time around too!

I am rereading Jack Townsend’s ‘Tales from the Gas Station’ Vol One even though I read it in January this year. Reason being, my husband bought me all four volumes of the series in paperback for my birthday 😁 I thoroughly enjoyed reading it on Kindle Unlimited, so now I have the physical copies I want to read all four in this format. It’s a laugh-a-minute and that’s what I need right now! 🦝
