What happens a lot in translations is that the integrity of the text is compromised in favor for a comprehensible version. That is why something may appear to be "badly written." (continuation of a progress update from before).

If I'm being honest, the most annoying thing about reading a translation is that you're always going to see someone say "this is badly written," which is an offence to the original text in the original language because as some people don't evidently know, you cannot translate everything to English without dropping subtle nuances and prose.
