Okay, it's started to pick up.

This really isn't doing anything to grab me yet.

This is a hell of a fast read.

Only decent so far... his tendency to go from "gripping narrative" to "dense textbook" is a little out of control here though...

Suddenly I can't put this damn thing down.

Man, Palahniuk has got some screws loose...

Forcing my way through it as it gets more disappointingly absurd by the page.

This book is so painfully slow and repetitive I can only read three or four short chapters at a time. Such a letdown from one of my favorite writers.

...zombies? really? Talk about jumping the shark.

This has been a slow, painful read so far...
