T - theme One of the prominent themes in this book is doubt. Boy nobody has doubts about his loyalty to the Program, and it poses a conflict for the whole book.

In this section, Blitz and Magnus end up in Folkvanger, in the afterlife of the Vanir. The palace in the center of Folkvanger is a giant boat flipped upside down, and I think it would look like this. Visual

Great Expectations
The book is becoming more developed, and a new mysterious character was introduced. A man gave Pip some money without telling why, and he seems to know the convict that Pip helped. I like the language used in the book, because it makes me think more about what I'm reading.

Great Expectations
The first 25 pages of Great Expectations have been interesting and difficult. It is not an easy book to read, but it has been intruiguing so far. Pip is a good kid who is just trying to do the right thing, without getting in trouble. The plot of the story is developing and Dickens develops the characters' personalities very well. I plan on continuing to read this book, as I think that I am going to like it.
