Never expected to be enjoying this as much as I am.

This is great so far. Barker has such an imagination.

Trying to read this in one sitting. It's making me feel very uncomfortable.

Now that's what I'm talking about. That milk story was disturbing.

I'm enjoying this book. I am. But then death by coke machine happens and I can see why it gets so much stick

People can say what they want about this novel, but that shed scene was pretty horrific.

" I always loved you, and no matter how this turns out, remember that I still do. "

Onto part 3. I think I just got my first glimpse of the famous tentacles.

I'm glad I have translate on my kindle for this. There is quite a bit of Spanish involved. That first chapter was so brutal!

A great story.

This book is weird. It's written with all of what you would expect as the twists in plain sight. Quite refreshing in that way.

That was one hell of a nuclear party.

But my thoughts have always waited in darkened corners for me, watching for moments in which I am lulled into a false sense of security. Their favourite torture is to remind me of my solitude.
