"You, on the other hand, feel that you are immortal, and the decisions of an immortal man can be canceled or regretted or doubted. In a world where death is the hunter, my friend, there is no time for regrets or doubts. There is only time for decisions."

Just got two books from The Year's Best Horror Stories Series, IV and VII, both of which are autographed by David Drake! Such a sweet find!

Unfortunately I have to lay to the side my excursion into the Red Sonja series of books to begin reading the books for the DAW book club. Several interesting books in the line up for this period. Hopefully I will be able to sneak a sword and sorcery book in there in between books :-)

Oh lord, I guess it is time I finished this book. It has taken nearly a year to get this far and it would be a shame to not get it done. But Cooper's longwinded writing style is killing me in this book.

Interesting story, the concept is rather original I am just curious how the aliens would not be able to find them. You would think they have more advanced medical, but I guess we shall see.

taking a break from this one. Probably finish it a couple stories a day while reading another book. Just a little to much repetition in themes it seems like.
