So far, a decent primer, but doesn't go in depth (articles on Egyptian cosmetics in Elle magazine are more detailed) and there is too much personal opinion. I am currenty reading about magic and it's mostly the authors opinion.

I dislike the notion that an ancient shaman was set out to dupe people. I rather think much like the scientist he would be excited to learn and share. Unpleasant chapter.
