Where’s this plot going , I have tried reread ig this so many times and I don’t understand where this is going…

This is approximate as I’m reading an audiobook and I can’t be bothered to calculate how far I’m in this book , BUT that aside, I have few problems with this book firstly it could use some diversity, the poc included in here don’t feel poc to me.The diversity is very subtle. And I don’t mean it in a good way. I also wish the author researched X linked diseases as well. Still I think this is going to be a 4

Umm I just stumbled across NXIVM after reading a bit more.. and I don’t know if I want to continue with this anymore , tbh I don’t know what else I could get out of this book that I didn’t get out of the documentary excluding the cringe dialogue and dumb mc

Also is she dumb ?? Why is this woman going back to places way worse than the previous by the minute .. like this shit doesn’t even stop
