So far, this book is one of the most basic pool books I have ever read. "You have an object ball and there is a ball in your way, so you have to bank the cue ball to hit your object ball. Look around for an appropriate bank to do it. See picture aa, for some examples." I am paraphrasing, but that is the basic gist of what I have read so far. Not very helpful even to beginners. I will see if it improves any.
