For the first time, the novel dragged, and I'm glad the road trip section is over. Humbert continues to act the sociopath, wondering why his "Lo" seems to have such bad moods since he started sexually abusing her. Really Humbert, really?! You can't think of any reason why she cries herself to sleep every night?

I love the bit where they see parallel/potential worlds it's so well-written and interesting, I'd love to know more about them. (and the 'flickerflickerflicker' bit always creeped me out)
