I think the problem is I’ve read the sequel series (about their kids) before this so the stakes are pretty low. I know what’s going to happen, just not all the nitty gritty. I’m finding myself kinda bored 🥲

Too much of this book so far is a repeat of the same events in a different POV. I don’t hate it but I do get kinda bored, especially when there’s a lot of dialogue I’ve already heard.
