Truth is, I'm not currently reading this. This was an experiment.
I bought the e-book years ago, but am getting offers to buy another Kindle edition.

Now beginning a discussion of 'foils' w/o really getting what a foil is or does. Shoulda read Chuck Klosterman:

The Joker was Batman’s nemesis, but—ironically—his archenemy was Superman, since Superman made Batman entirely mortal and generally nonessential. Nobody likes to admit this, but Batman fucking hated Superman; Superman is the reason Batman became an alcoholic.

The game is off. Just gonna let it all wash over me.

Close to giving this up.
