If you took out all the political crap, covid crap and 8428 smoking comments this book would be 150 pages long.

So much filler talk about smoking… like literally every damn page has cigarette talk 😬

I both enjoy and am annoyed by this series. It’s fun, but very repetitive. In chapter 7 alone there are 10 mentions of the Hawthorne name and the two characters in it have their full first middle and last name are used 6 times for no reason.

Interesting plot but waaaaay too many descriptions and metaphors
