Ove is the neighborhood grumpy guy whom almost everyone is likely to misjudge at first appearance. But deeper than usual goes the iceberg that is called Ove. Icy crusts pave way to a warm and beautiful core that is empathetic and kind in it's own way. I feel like kissing the person a hundred times who suggested me this gem of a book.

I am reminded of a specific scene from the Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Masaan', where Vicky can't seem to cry anymore since all his tears have been shed that evening already, and then he says, "Saala yeh dukh kaahe khatam nahi hota hai bey?" A Little Life presents a world, Jude's world, which will break your heart. It'll force tears out of your eyes, but it's not just a sad tale, its so much more. Can't wait to finish it.

A man called Ove is a very peculiar man, yet interesting enough that you want to have a teensy bit deeper peek into his life and doings. This is a character that derives the interesting from the mundane, not something you find everyday.
