I'm also listening 🎧 to this book on Audible as I read. Oh my! The narrator is simply FABULOUS! She really makes this book come alive! :)

I relate to Jude in this book. My experience was the opposite of hers though. I was horribly teased and called vicious names because I came from a biracial family. My mother was white and my father was a light skin black man. I didn't feel like I belonged in either camp. I totally understand about the loneliness and name calling that Jude talks about. It's hurts to not know where you belong.

Oh my goodness! This book is laugh out loud funny! I'm falling in love with the characters in it. This is my first time reading books by this author. I'm definitely going to read more by him :)

This book is GOOD! It's definitely hard to put down. I'm listening to the Audible version while reading the text. The narrator has a lovely southern accent that brings the characters to life.
