So far, good. Very intriguing.

75% onward is faster paced. the last fee chapters have gotten to be pretty tense page turners. that said, this isn't near as fast paced, even at this point, as the previous novels. But i am quite enjoying it. a few things seem improbable, but meh. i like where the story is going so far.

Pacing is still slow 68% in. But it's quite interesting. This isn't the lightning fast action packed pace of books 1-3 by a long shot.

I must say while I find the book quite entertaining, it is much slower pace then the other three books. readers should not expect at least in the first half the high-velocity action packed adventure of previous books. this isn't a criticism just a fact. I'm enjoying it a lot despite the difference in Pace.

A note about this. I've been busy, so haven't had time to read. That said, this first 21% has been a bit of a slow burn. But don't let that prevent you reading this. It's quite interesting. More of a slow development of several intrigues all gradually coming together. I just read 2 hours in a doctors office, and yes while things develop slower, I wasn't bored at all. I was quite drawn in, despite the slower pace.

Excellent book so far!My slow progress is a result of nightshifts making me too exhausted to focus. Incredibly well written though! I look forward to more lively days in which I can actually read without this brutal exhaustion.

S&%t just got REAL, Carl! It just got REAL! Chapter 7 was mind blowing! This book has some dry spots, that are dry despite being interesting, but when it hits its stride it's just... mind expanding! There were other sections previous to this that were also impressive but this chapter made me have to write an update on its grandure.

So far this has been very interesting! I will say one thing though. Since I've been reading a lot of easy fiction novels, I'm surprised how long it's taking me to read and digest this book. There are some small bits here or there where my lazy brain seems inclined to ponderously pontificate. While I find it fascinating, it's not written as lively as I had expected. It's not boring, but it's a bit slower going.
