Just finished the first story in the collection, "At the Mountains of Madness". Easily my favorite Lovecraft story and despite Stephen King being my all-time favorite author, this might just be my favorite tale, period. Rereading it just makes me hope even more than Guillermo del Toro is someday able to accomplish his dream of adapting "Madness" for the big screen.

Ugh. I've been sick the last couple of days days, so I'm not making the progress I'd like with Pratchett's latest work...

I swear Stephen King's writing talent touches damn near everything around him; I didn't realize until I started 'Save Yourself' that Braffet is King's daughter-in-law, married to his son Owen.

This is a book I needed to get back to reading. I set it aside for some reason two or three years ago and forgot all about it. I loved everything viking-related growing up and I still have a fascination with them. (I was watching the most recent episode of History's 'Vikings' when this popped back into my mind.)

I just finished the six short stories that made up 'The Mask of Cthulhu' part of this collection. The rest of the book is the novel 'The Trail of Cthulhu'.
