After looking some info up on a name in the book and learning it's from Japanese folklore, the story is making a lot more sense.

I am a happily married Texas young lady... I love reading, writing, films, crafts… I guess you could say more things than I would have time to list.
My father, my mother, and I are all evangelist. My mother is a professional ventriloquist among many other talents. I travel with them on the road when I get the chance; singing and helping with the equipment.

I started this book quite a while back when I first got it to review. Obviously I have not gotten far considering it's page number. However, it is a very captivating story, yet easy to read; making me wish that my body did not require sleep. LOL
