The Vorkosigan saga won a Hugo award in 2017 for best series. I have also read one of Lois McMaster Bujold’s other books, the curse of chalk on, and enjoyed it, so this series sounded quite good.
The advice online is to start with shards of honor. However, unfortunately, this is not the science fiction book I was looking for- it’s a pretty bad romance novel with light science fiction trappings. Meh. Maybe dnf.

DNF. So unremarkably written that I forgot I was reading it until I found it in my kindle library. Can’t remember the plot, the characters name, or really much except that it was incredibly badly written and needed an editor.
