this book has a lot of bad reviews that talk about how the main character is unlikeable but you know what. he’s a cop. of course he sucks.

unfortunately so far I am really not getting on with this translation. if a poem is about Tai Shan please call it Tai Shan or Mt Tai, not “exalt mountain”. that is unnecessarily exoticising for the sake of it.
