Everyone recognizes the Knyght with the Two Swerdis, even after he breaks one of his swords defending against kynge Pellam and even when he introduces himself as "Balyne le Saveage." (Then again, he's back up to two swords when he meets his brother, for whatever reason.)
But when he accepts another knyght's offer to lend him a byggar sheld, he is totally unrecognizable.
