After the confusing first few chapters, where they wander for almost 2 years through Tibet, now that they are in Lhasa the story is much more understandable.

Amazing! It took Harrer and Aufschnaiter over a year wandering the high plains of Tibet to reach Lhasa. They almost died several times, and were lucky to survive, much less reach Lhasa.

Very engaging. A nice mix of the personal and the professional (scientific).
