83 pages in and I’m not sure I’m feeling it yet. Maybe I’ve just hit my emotional damage limit with this series. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but the vibe isn’t landing for me right now. I’ll give it a few more chapters before deciding.

Me, once again: “this will be the last one.” Also me: starting Taming 7.

209 pages into The Woman in Me and I feel like I’ve lived seventeen lifetimes, shaved my head twice, and whispered “leave Britney alone” into the void at least once per chapter.

My favorite part of this book so far is that fact that Britney’s Mom fed her White Russians at 13 years old

80% into Dune and I’m trucking along, powered by confusion and sheer determination. I don’t fully understand what’s happening, but I feel like it’s important. Onward. For Arrakis. For Spice (not that kind, pervs).

Paul is seeing the future, Jessica is playing 4D Chess, and I’m still trying to remember who hates whom and why. I’ve accepted that confusion is part of the experience.

Halfway through Tourist Season and I’m questioning my own morals because… why am I rooting for these people?! This book is unhinged in the best way. Brynne Weaver has me giggling and terrified all at once. The miscommunication trope is killing me tho.

This book is playing god with my emotions—each truth a blade, each tender moment a curse. The wounds never heal; they just learn new names.
