Luna has one of the better intros of the series.

Already seeing fat that can be trimmed, but the writing is still strong.

This is, so far, some of the best writing of the series that I can remember.

I don't remember the resurrection being that graphic....in fact, this entire book is a whole lot more dark than I remember.

Hoping to wrap it up by midweek.

It's taking me a lot longer than I wanted. But now that the Tournament is starting, I should breeze through it.

The Weasley's arrival at the Dursley's is pure gold.

This ain't a kids series anymore.

The whole reveal up to this point is so well done.

Rowling pretty much took the mystery/thriller aspect of CoS and perfected it for Azkaban. The story flows so well in this one, and it makes me remember why it's possibly my favorite.

Lupin is one of my favorite characters. I feel like he's so under-appreciated.

Now I remember why this one was my least favorite...Aragog gave 12 year old me nightmares.

CoS was typically on the bottom of my ranking for the series - but I'm enjoying it so far more than I remember. The mystery of everything is done really well. So much darker than Sorcerer's Stone.
