Reading this with book club and I’ve been slow reading but I fucking love it

I struggled big time with the first 30 pages adjusting to the world building but now I’m into it and I think I’ll enjoy this

The girls fighting have broke my heart … although I do find Laura particularly frustrating. It’s shit to be the friend who’s bestie ditches her a lad and then acts like you’re crazy when you get offended by it

I love this book, I love this book. I feel such dirty dancing vibes. The humor is perfect and I actually love the way the POVs are shifting between past present and the night of the incident

This is the only TM Logan book (I think) that I haven’t read yet. So I feel like I’m obliged to read it

I was waiting all book to see what unfolded to turn Medusa into what she is but god that was anticlimactic

Oh god the writing in this is just a bit juvenile and really is Athena seriously explaining sex to a 17 year old Medusa

It’s disgusting that Darren offered money for Aoife to get an abortion behind Joeys back but in all honesty, her keeping the baby is a bit of a wild decision. When Joey is so vulnerable and she is still so young, it’s a very tough thing to have chosen to go through with

Sigh Aoife was going through all this alone in book 1 and 2 and we didn’t even know

I started this on the plane yesterday and I’ve torn through it. It’s definitely better than I anticipated. So far I like the changes they made for the show. Even though adding in Jules feels very unnecessary considering the lack of Logan in general in this but everything else I’m liking

God this has really gripped me I’m happy reading for first time in a WHILE

I am really enjoying this - the different POVs confused me at first but I think I’ve gotten into it now

I’ve enjoyed this but I don’t empathize much with Evelyn or Celia - so it’s not going to beat Carrie Soto

I haven’t read this in years but I remember really loving it. And so far it’s living up to it again

To be honest, I am quite disappointed in this so far. I thought we might go in a different direction but the author has literally copied and pasted Fourth Wing again.
