William Teale and Erasamus Nash…ugh so sad

Went in cold with no warning or knowledge what this book was about…now the hair on the back of my neck is standing up!!! Yikes 😱

Interesting so far way to tell a story about the early colonists settlement and the savage way they enacted genocide amongst the indigenous people living there.

Plot: A colony in Massachusetts suffers a massacre leaving a young woman and her baby alive. There is a strong themes of Christianity but makes sense in this book.

The indigenous people were seeking revenge for the loss of their village and people.

We first me Hai, of Vietnamese descent and living In Connecticut, a town called Gladness. Hai is in his 20s and meets Grazina, a 70 year old Lithuanian immigrant. We also meet Sony, who will pull on your heart ❤️ strings ( pronounced like the TV company “Sony”).
