So far, I like this one better than book 1.
Lanny is still my favorite character. =)

There's a big snow coming.

Does anyone else have a mother in law that hates your guts but you have no idea why....?
I do.
I'm trying not to take it personally because she treats everyone like shit.
I haven't given her reason to hate me.

And Lucky me, she was to come for a visit.

When she gets to hell (and she will) she'll tell Satan, "You've been doing this all wrong!"

She makes any bad witch look like June Cleaver.

Any advice?

This would make one heck of a movie.
The pacing is kinda slow, but I think it works!

I have love for slow burn movies/books.
It might be a slow burn but its packed with suspense.
If it continues, it will be a favorite of mine.

It sorta reminds me of that movie, Dark was the Night.
I love that one. Anyone see that? It was on Netflix but not anymore.

I'm enjoying this very much, so far.
This is about an extreme snow storm, the most extreme of them all.
Something is in the snow.

Currently, I'm living in Missouri. We have no snow.
This book does a good job of making me feel like I'm there; chilled to the bone, with no electricity and no help.

I'm also pretty scared of that average rating.....

I may start my next read tonight or wait for tomorrow.

I won't be back on until next year.

Looks like I'm gonna be reading this past Christmas.

Maybe I can finish it by the New Year. I doubt it.

So far, I'm not a fan of this book.
Not a fan of the author's writing style.
He makes it confusing and hard to follow in some spots.

I'd say stick with the movie.
I'd rather watch the movie.

I'm getting into the Christmas spirit finally!

This is the basis for Die Hard, the action packed Christmas movie staring Bruce Willis.

Nothing says Christmas quite like some Die Hard.

Turns out: Foxy is actually a boy. LOL....oops!

We named him Kody.

So, we have Carly, Dixie, Kody, Patch, Pinky and Tiny.
At least we are even now, 3 boys 3 girls. =)

We have a new edition to our family!
We adopted another cat!
6 cats now! Holy Toledo!
She was a stray that got in our basement through a hole. That hole is closed up now.
She's pretty young.
She goes to the vet next week.

We named her Foxy because of her bushy tail.
She's a beautiful gray and white.

One less stray off the street!
Adopt, don't shop!

My copy only has 427 pages, so less than 100 pages to go.
This has been great reading but I'm ready to be finished with it.

My copy says 427 pages....so I have about 200 pages to go. Yowza!
