I'm really enjoying it. A perfect read for a hot summer afternoon.

The writing for this book is really beautiful.

I decided to read this book after watching The Lighthouse starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson.

In this book: After finding a journal left behind by a former lighthouse keeper, Rebecca delves into the real life mystery of the disappearance of 3 lighthouse keepers back in 1900.

I can't help but envision the voice of Willem Dafoe while reading the diary entries.

So far, so good!

I love the setting of this book. Its a remote house that the owner has turned into a bed and breakfast retreat for writers.

I also love the pace.
