I enjoyed this.

This book irritated me so much I stopped reading it AND anything else for like 2 weeks. Slow, disconnected exposition - nothing really happens until 50% of the way through, and by that time I was already bored and irritated. Not for me - and I typically like books like this.

Beginning felt a little rocky but Collins, as always, knows how to craft a story. It felt extremely timely. I didn’t expect I’d still be reading Hunger Games books in my 30s, but they remain enjoyable and thoughtful experiences.
