it's finally picking up!

also the fact that I am not even halfway through is really discouraging -- I have been reading this for weeks, but if the pace doesn't pick up I don't know if this book can redeem itself for me. I'm totally determined to finish it and SJM's prose has gotten so much better, but so far I feel QoS is just plodding and only ok.

i'm trying really hard to like this one guys, but it's just not clicking for me! i feel like rowan has been given a serious case of the legolas syndrome, and it's just not turning the pages for me!
