this is so painfully slow

alright the nazi is dead. i kinda see where it’s headed and why it’s so lauded but the whole thing took way too long to pick up the pace. and while yes i know there’s a lot of truth to the stories told, it’s just all a bit too remarkable. anyways, i think this book is a slump read for me.

this book is taking me so long to read holy shit. it’s fine, just dry? which sounds awful, given the subject matter. but that brings me to why i feel compelled to write this update: homegirl was about to kiss a nazi. i’m sorry, i know it’s trying to be “real” and show the humanness — and maybe ill look into it more for the literature aspect later — but for now, that’s not cool.
