Ok, it’s picked up again.

57% in. The pacing is so slow!! Parts of the book suck me in only for it to slow down to a point that I’ve decided to call it a night and go to bed.

So far the book is ok. I get the similarities to Fourth Wing. My favourite character is Anassa and she literally doesn’t say anything.

I decided to listen to the audiobook on my drive to work and omg Blake’s voice is driving me crazy in a good way. Let’s be real, I’m only reading the series for him at this stage.

Starting book 2 straight away because I need more Blake.

I am also a bit obsessed with Blake.

I am so confused by this book and the plot twist after plot twist, but I can’t put it down and I’m invested.

I just want this book to end.

Buddy reading with a friend who hasn’t read it before. I still love this book .

Goodness me this book has so many characters involved. I am short circuiting from trying to remember who they all are.
